POP star Conor Maynard has fired a brutal shot at Traitors contestant Charlotte Chilton as their explosive paternity battle rumbles on.

The 32-year-old singer, who has been embroiled in the row for over a year, appears to poke fun at Charlotte, 34, in a new teaser for his upcoming track Cherry on Top

In a video shared on his social media pages, Conor stages a mock press conference surrounded by reporters from spoof newspapers including the Traitor Times, Not My Sun and The Legal Guardian – in a dig at Charlotte after she went public with the paternity battle.

The fake journalists grill Conor with brutal questions, many alluding to his scandal with Charlotte.

One asks: “Conor, is it true you still can’t say no to women?” in a nod to both his 2012 hit Can’t Say No and his recent baby drama.

Another jibe says: “Conor, how much did you pay to change your DNA?” in another clear reference to Charlotte’s explosive claims that the paternity test results were wrong.

The grilling continues as one reporter quips: “Can you spell fertility?” before another insists: “Come on, the baby looks just like you.”

Finally, a journalist named Billie Jean from the One Night Standard asks: “Conor, you’ve been at the centre of a lot of drama and accusations the last year and a half.

“Do you have anything to say in response?”

Conor is then seen taking a deep breath and staring into the camera before the teaser for Cherry on Top drops, confirming it will be released on September 26.

The savage swipe comes after the long-running DNA saga was finally put to bed earlier this year.

A test in early 2025 proved Conor was not the father of Charlotte’s daughter Penelope, despite her claims he was.

In a dramatic twist, Charlotte demanded a second paternity test after alleging an “unidentified male was present” when Conor gave his original DNA sample.

But once again, the results confirmed the singer is not the dad.

Conor appeared on ITV’s This Morning back in May and said he had been through one of the worst years of his life.

He revealed his already poor mental health had spiralled, telling This Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Paddy McGuinness: “It was difficult to remain silent.

“I was instantly painted as a dead-beat dad. My comments on my social media were all about that.”

Asked why he wanted to speak out now, Conor said: “Realistically, one of the main reasons is, now is the right time.

“As you said, the last year has been really difficult and mental health is something I have struggled with for a huge portion of my life.

“And this year has been up there with my battle with it.

“There have been a lot of things that have happened and a lot of things that contributed to why it has been so difficult.”
